AT SCI, WE DEVELOP NEW APPROACHES TO STEM TRAINING AND WORK TO SHIFT SCIENCE CULTURE.

We know from our own experiences that current graduate education doesn’t provide the skills, mindsets, and working knowledge to participate effectively in public work.

SCi was created out of student demand for a more socially-minded science education.

We provide STEM students with the training needed to become effective leaders of change.

We support faculty with resources to enhance mentorship and elevate their own classrooms.

We study science culture and best practices to bolster our scientific institutions.

We create new ways for scientists to serve communities and for communities to inform science.

OUR IMPACT

SINCE SCi’S INCEPTION IN 2020, WE HAVE DELIVERED MULTIPLE COURSES, SERVED HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS, AND SUPPORTED 17 FELLOWS.
